Bentwall is a room with pictures in it — no prices, no buy buttons, no algorithm deciding who gets seen. If you make photographs you are proud of, there is space here for them, and it costs nothing.

How it works

Everything happens here: sign up, send a photograph, and follow it through review on your own page.

  1. Make a free account

    A minute, and it costs nothing. Bentwall runs on BentBox accounts, so if you already have one, just sign in with it; if not, the account you make here works on both.

  2. Showing nudity? Verify your ID, once

    Only if your work includes nudity: a one-time identity and age check through ProntoID before it can be sent. Your documents stay with ProntoID and are never shown to anyone. Everything else you can send straight away.

  3. Upload one image and certify it

    Give it a title and a line about it, say whether it contains nudity, and confirm it is your own photograph and that everyone in it is 18 or over and agreed to be shown.

  4. A person looks at it

    Usually within a day. If it fits the wall, it goes up straight away, credited to you with a link to your profile. If it doesn’t, we write and tell you why — a real reason, not a form letter.

What hangs here

Artistic photography: the kind a photographer would call art. Light that was considered, a frame that was composed, a subject chosen for a reason. That includes the nude as art — the figure as form, light and line — but not nudity whose purpose is sexual appeal. It is a narrow brief, and deliberately so: it is why the wall looks the way it does.

  • Glamour or boudoir nudity
  • Erotic or sexualised poses

  • Watermarks, logos or text on the picture
  • Anyone who hasn’t agreed to be shown
  • Work that isn’t yours

A picture that doesn’t go up isn’t a verdict on your photography — it just isn’t right for this wall, and we’ll say why. Up to 10 images every 24 hours. More on what hangs here

What you keep

Every right to your work. You transfer nothing. We display it, with your name on it, and you can take it down whenever you like.
Your credit, on every view. Each image carries your handle and links to your profile. There is no way to pay for a better position, including for us.
Nothing to pay. The wall is free and nothing on it is for sale. No subscriptions, no upgrades, nothing to buy.
A way out. Anyone pictured can have an image taken down immediately, no explanation needed. That applies to you too.
